Terms of business

These terms apply to every visit booked with Hollin & Pegg. Hollin & Pegg Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company 00000000. [Trade association membership]. Public liability insurance to £2m.
Prices
Labour is charged at £56 an hour in half-hour steps with a one-hour minimum, £190 for a half day (up to 4 hours) or £340 for a full day (up to 8 hours), whichever is lowest for the jobs booked. Prices include VAT and travel within 12 miles of Worcester.
Materials
Consumables (fixings, wall plugs, silicone, filler, washers) are included. Items you keep, such as brackets, blinds, handles or paint, are supplied by you or bought by us at cost, with the receipt.
If the job changes
The agreed price covers the jobs as described. If we find a problem that changes the job, we stop and agree a new price with you before going on. If we find it is not a job for us, there is no charge for the time it took to find out.
Cancelling
You can cancel or move a visit free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts. Later than that, we may charge one hour at the hourly rate.
Payment
By card on completion, or by bank transfer within seven days of the invoice. There is no deposit for visits shorter than a full day.
Guarantee
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the visit. If something we fitted fails because of how we fitted it, we return and put it right free of charge. The guarantee does not cover materials you supplied, misuse, or later work by someone else.
